 WestMont Ridge Residences and Amenities 

Real Estate is always Key to HoliMont’s Growth

A few years back, the members approved the WestMont Ridge project. HoliMont has grown since it began back in the early 1960’s by selling residential real estate on HoliMont property to finance the addition of new amenities that benefit members and guests. This practice has added many exciting amenities to the Club at little to no cost to the members.  WestMont Ridge is an extension of our continuous growth.


90 Mountainside Ski/In-Ski/Out Residential Lots

The foundation of The Plan involves the sale of 90 residential lots and 64 condominium units. The residential lots will be sold in phases. Of the 31 lots

 already offered for sale in Phase I, there are 11 remaining to be sold (see the lot map for Phase I available lots included below).  Building lots range in size from .39 to .59 acres.  All of the infrastructure work required for Phase I has been completed. That includes roads, utilities (gas, electric, water, sewer and phone), drainage and other infrastructure required by Local, State and Federal agencies. All lots are ready for building exciting new residential homes.  As the remaining lots in Phase I are sold, additional lots in Phase II will be readied for development.

 

 

 

 

 

 

64 Rocky Mountain Style CondominiumsWestMont Condos

All engineering and site work for the 64 condominium units has been completed.  In the near future the infrastructure work required to start

construction of the Condo buildings will commence. The facade of every four-unit condo building features a Rocky Mountain style exterior that is unique to the Ellicottville area. Each building provides ski/in-ski/out access to the slopes at HoliMont. In addition to spacious living quarters, the condo’s include a garage, rear deck for grill and hot tub, exciting kitchen design, multi floor design and outstanding views.


Homeowners Association

As with all neighborhoods found in HoliMont, owners of residential lots and Condominiums become members of their respective Homeowners Association when they purchase a lot or condo. Each Homeowners Association is responsible for the maintenance of the roads in their association as well as other expenses for maintaining their neighborhood. An annual dues assessment is collected from each member of the Association to cover their share of the maintenance costs. The current annual dues will be outlined at closing on each lot or condo.

New Amenities Coming for HoliMont’s Family Lifestyle

The new amenities associated with WestMont Ridge will provide members and guests with exciting new features for years to come at the western side of HoliMont.

New “Learn To Ski” Area

Beginner skiers and boarders will enjoy a much larger and skier friendly beginner area. The Chipmunk chair will be relocated and extended in this new area. Two Magic Carpet lifts will also assist our younger skiers.  A new Warm-Up building will be installed at the base of the “Learn to Ski” area to accommodate young skiers using the area.

Additional Parking at the WestMont Area

Expanded parking is now available at the base of the Sunset Chair for members and guests using the WestMont area. The Main Chalet area is also serviced by trams running both ways from the Main Chalet to the WestMont Parking area daily.

New Park & Pipe Terrain with lighted nighttime hours on Friday and Saturday night.

 The new WestMont Slope has been cut in and promises to be one of the most exciting new amenities at HoliMont. WestMont Slope will be serviced by the old Exhibition Quad Lift and will make all Condominium Units and Phase II lots totally ski/in-Ski/out. In addition, the new Park and Pipe elements will be installed on the WestMont Slope for skiers of all ages to challenge and enjoy.  And – as an extra bonus the slope will be lighted for night skiing on Friday and Saturday nights. Until the new day Lodge at WestMont is completed the new Warm Up Building at the bottom of Sunset will service skiers using the new WestMont Slope.

Spectacular new Day Lodge at the bottom of Sunset

The crown jewel in the WestMont Plan is the new Day Lodge planned for the bottom of Sunset. The Day Lodge will feature expanded dining for members and guests, private member dining facilities, member and guest locker rooms and showers, Nordic Center to facilitate Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing, Ski/Rental Shop and easy access for skiers to the slopes. The Great Room style of the Day Lodge will also facilitate large meetings, weddings and other social events at HoliMont. The Day Lodge’s proximity to residential properties located in WestMont, Sunset, and The Woods will greatly enhance member enjoyment.

Sunset High-Speed Detachable Lift

The current 3-Chair lift at Sunset will be replaced with a new High Speed Detachable Lift. When the lift is installed, skiers will be able to quickly move from the bottom of Sunset to all areas of HoliMont.
